Marimekko is a Finnish lifestyle design company known above all for its distinctive patterns and colors. The company's product range includes high-quality clothing, bags and accessories as well as household goods from interior textiles to tableware.

Octacell supplied Marimekko's headquarters in Helsinki with several double Octacell 3X1 rooms and one Octacell 2X1 room for telephone and video conferencing. After installation, all Octacell spaces were treated with a Fotonit Air coating based on FOTONIT® photocatalytic coating. With the Photonit Air coating, the indoor air in Octacell rooms is cleaned efficiently and safely. The photocatalytic coating reacts with visible light, destroying molecules that cause unpleasant odors from the air and surfaces.
