General

  • All Octacell workrooms are designed and manufactured in Finland. We use premium quality components from select domestic suppliers.

  • We don’t compromise on quality. We use premium quality components from carefully selected Finnish suppliers and state-of-the-art manufacturing methods and computer-controlled CNC machines. The components and materials are manufactured sustainably.

  • We take care of every installation, edit, and move. Installing one workroom takes a couple of hours, and we can install several workrooms on the same day.

  • Our average delivery time is five weeks, but individual workrooms can arrive even sooner.

Workroom features

  • The ventilation goes up to 30 l/s per user, based on workroom size. That means the air stays fresh, even after your hours-long grind. The powerful, low-noise ventilation is based on adjustable forced ventilation for air input and output. The ventilation uses air from the surrounding space, so connecting to a central ventilation system is unnecessary. We can add electric cooling for the workrooms—even later on.

  • Our workrooms are equipped with a sliding door by default. Sliding doors help you use your space as efficiently as possible. A single-leaf door or an accessible leaf door is also available.

  • Octacell workrooms are best suited for 1–8 people. The workrooms scale, meaning we can make them bigger or smaller to fit your needs exactly. If you want to change the size or layout of the workroom, we’ll do it without any additional cost.

    As a rule of thumb, we recommend 2x1 and 2x2 for 1–2 users and 3x2 and 3x3 for 2–4 users. For more than 4 users, we recommend 4x3, 4x4, or 5x4.

  • We can increase the size of the workroom or divide it into separate workrooms. The modular design also allows us to change the placement of doors, walls, and other components easily. We can do all that even after installation, so when your number of users grows, so do the workrooms. This scalability ensures a future-proof and cost-effective support for the company’s operations.

  • Because we use premium quality components, our workrooms require little maintenance. All products come with a 5-year warranty for the frame components and a standard 2-year warranty for wearing parts like lights. The warranty covers flaws and defects caused by normal use.

    Please note that the furniture can have different warranty terms. The furniture is covered by the manufacturer’s or importer’s warranty.

  • We’ve minimised our workrooms’ energy consumption and continue looking for ways to make our products and manufacturing processes less energy- and material-intensive.

    Our soundproofing is made from recycled plastic foam pellets, and the element boards contain surplus material from wood processing. We’re also constantly looking for more eco-friendly material alternatives.

Workroom placement

  • Our workrooms scale, so you’ll always find a size that’s perfect for you. You can place the workroom anywhere in your office space. Our workrooms have a modular design system, meaning elements like doors and walls can be arranged any way you want. You can place windows to take in as much natural light as possible, walls to maintain privacy, or the door for easy access.

  • Yes, you can. Octacell rooms can be placed anywhere: as standalone workrooms, against the wall, or in corners. The ventilation doesn’t require space around the workroom.

  • Yes, it is. We’ll help you move the workrooms to a different spot within your office space, or even to a new venue. We can also easily rearrange the doors, walls, and other components—ensuring the workroom fits your new needs perfectly.

Technical features

  • Our standards are high, and so are the results. All workrooms have at least A-level soundproofing, with many exceeding the A+ level measured in ISO 23351-1 standards. We test the acoustics in a laboratory.

  • They don’t. When turning on the ventilation, you’ll hear a little noise that quickly blends in with the property’s ventilation and office sounds.

  • We offer a purely electric cooling solution developed with our partner Halton Oy. It only requires a 230V power supply, meaning you just plug it into a normal wall socket. The cooling system isn’t fixed to the property’s structures and doesn’t produce condensation water.

  • The workroom materials are non-flammable. If the property's fire safety regulations require it, you can equip the workrooms with a fire alarm and a separate aerosol fire extinguishing equipment or connect the workroom to the building’s sprinkler system. That isn’t usually required, as our workrooms are typically classified as office furniture.

  • We have a wide range of colors and materials to choose from for both the exterior and interior surfaces.

  • Our workrooms come with adjustable LED lights that are energy-efficient and operate with motion sensors.

  • Our workrooms come with two standard power sockets, and we can add more. They can be installed almost anywhere on the wall. You can lead a 230V power connection inside from the top or bottom and install a data socket as an accessory.

  • We offer a wide range of furniture designed for our workrooms, but you can use any furniture you like.

  • Our workrooms come equipped with a high-quality meeting system that’s easy for anyone to use. You can test it in our showrooms.
