The Octacell collection has received the Design from Finland label

The Octacell collection of customizable soundproof workrooms has been awarded the Design from Finland label in early 2022. The Design from Finland label is granted to products and services that are designed in Finland in a professional, responsible, and user-oriented way. The label is issued by the Association for Finnish Work and highlights Finnish design expertise and long-term commitment to quality.

The recognition applies to Octacell’s entire product collection, which includes ten workroom models in various sizes. The collection covers workrooms intended for phone and video calls, focused individual work, and meetings, allowing the solutions to be used in a wide range of office environments and use cases.

All Octacell workrooms are designed and manufactured in Finland. The design of the workrooms is by Octacell’s founder, Antti Sundqvist, who has been responsible for both the functional and visual aspects of the collection. The brand name Octacell is also closely linked to the design: the name “Octa” refers to the eight corner elements that form the structure of the workrooms.

In addition to functionality, the design process has focused on usability, modularity, and long product life. The Design from Finland label reflects this approach and underlines the role of design as an integral part of product development rather than a separate feature.

As Octacell continues to expand toward international markets, the Design from Finland label also serves as a clear indication of Finnish design values and manufacturing practices.
