Octacell rooms now with a wheelchair accessible door
The range of additional equipment for Octacell rooms expands to include a wheelchair-accessible leaf door. The accessible 900 mm wide leaf door allows wheelchair access to the room and supports use in environments where accessibility is required. The door is designed especially for customer service rooms, as many public service environments have specific requirements for passageways and access.
The accessible door is delivered with an extra-low soundproof sill and a wheelchair ramp, allowing smooth access into the room. These features ensure the room can be entered without barriers while maintaining the Octacell structure's soundproofing properties. The accessible leaf door can be installed in any Octacell room that meets the interior dimension requirements for wheelchair access.
“We listen closely to the needs of our customers and develop our products accordingly. We’ve received questions about unrestricted access to the rooms, as it is absolutely vital in certain environments. Modular customer service rooms are an excellent alternative to solid structures when it comes to building costs, quality, and scheduling as well,” summarizes Antti Sundqvist, Head of Product Development at Octacell.
