Raisio
The Family and Social Services of the City of Raisio, Finland, provide a wide range of services to local residents, including social welfare and child protection services in accordance with the Finnish Social Welfare Act and Child Protection Act. The work involves close interaction with individuals and families and is both diverse and highly regulated. As a result, the working environment plays an important role from the perspectives of both customers and employees.
In addition to traditional office spaces, the City of Raisio chose Octacell soundproof, ventilated, and modular workrooms to support daily operations. The Octacell workrooms are available for booking through the internal calendar system and can be used by all employees. The workrooms are located close to customer service areas, enabling efficient and flexible working practices.
As parts of the employee workspace are fully open and the work involves strict confidentiality requirements, the City of Raisio also invested in larger soundproof Octacell phone booths for employees. These phone booths provide suitable spaces for confidential conversations and tasks that require a high level of acoustic privacy.
Octacell delivered six meeting rooms and five phone booths, completing the installation within a few days. Due to security and privacy requirements, the workrooms were equipped with two doors, and visual barriers were added to the windows to ensure customer anonymity.
“We have been very satisfied with Octacell’s workrooms. The rooms are functional, visually appropriate, and the soundproofing is of a high standard. In addition, cooperation with Octacell has been straightforward, open, friendly, and flexible.”
