Visma
Visma is one of Europe’s leading software companies. The company develops and sells software that helps businesses and public sector organizations simplify and digitize their core processes. In Finland, Visma operates through several small and medium-sized companies and serves more than 100,000 customers with approximately 1,400 employees.
Visma’s Finnish headquarters are located in central Helsinki at Rautatalo, a building designed by Alvar Aalto and completed in 1955. Originally built for the central organizations of the hardware industry, Rautatalo is today a protected landmark that combines architectural heritage with modern office use.
In the summer of 2022, Visma renovated its premises into a modern multi-space office that supports different ways of working. As part of the renovation, new soundproof rooms were needed for both live and remote meetings. Octacell delivered several soundproof workrooms to Rautatalo, which are used for meetings and focused work throughout the day.
The material and color choices of the workrooms were made to match the updated interior of the office. The exterior surfaces were finished with oak veneer, while interior colors were selected to fit the overall design of the space.
