Marimekko
Marimekko is a Finnish lifestyle design company best known for its distinctive patterns and strong use of color. The company’s product range includes clothing, bags, and accessories, as well as home products such as interior textiles and tableware. Marimekko operates internationally, while its headquarters and design operations are based in Helsinki.
At Marimekko’s headquarters, there is a regular need for quiet spaces for phone calls, video meetings, and focused work. To support these needs, Octacell supplied the office with several double Octacell 3X1 workrooms, as well as one Octacell 2X1 workroom for telephone and video conferencing.
After installation, all Octacell workrooms were treated with a Fotonit Air coating based on FOTONIT® photocatalytic technology. The coating helps improve indoor air quality by reacting with visible light and breaking down molecules that cause unpleasant odors on surfaces and in the air. This treatment supports a clean, comfortable working environment in the workrooms without affecting their everyday use.
The Octacell workrooms were selected to fit Marimekko’s needs and office environment, providing soundproof spaces that can be used flexibly throughout the workday.
