The Octacell securitypod is a flexible solution designed for tasks requiring high confidentiality and handling of classified information. Security pods are essential for organizations that frequently deal with sensitive material or require spaces audited according to national security standards (KATAKRI). The Octacell security room can be configured as a workspace for one or multiple people, with additional size options available in our product page.

  • Security Classification
    • ​Octacell secure pods are customized to meet the specific security requirements of each project. These pods are used by several organizations as workspaces for handling security class IV information, audited and approved by relevant authorities.
  • Soundproofing
    • Octacell secure pods offer top-tier soundproofing. According to ISO 23351-1:2020 standards, the Octacell 2X1 pod has achieved an A+ rating (33.1 dB DS,A (field)), ensuring that confidential conversations cannot be overheard outside the pod.
  • Visual Privacy
    • ​​Octacell secure pods provide full visual privacy. Depending on security needs, glass surfaces can be equipped with wall panels, protective film, or blinds.
  • Ventilation
    • The ventilation system in Octacell secure pods operates independently, drawing air from outside the pod and not connecting to the building’s ventilation system. It has dedicated fans for both incoming and outgoing air, providing efficient airflow. Users can control the ventilation from inside the pod, and it remains in low-power mode when the pod is not in use, automatically boosting when motion sensors detect presence.
  • Installation
    • Octacell secure pods are installed by our certified technicians, who have extensive experience in secure installations. The pods are standalone units and do not attach to the building's structure. They are connected to the standard electrical network to power ventilation, lighting, and internal outlets. Installation takes about one working day, regardless of the pod size.
  • Locking System
    • Octacell secure pods can be equipped with various locking systems. A simple option is a mechanical lock similar to a restroom lock, which allows locking from the inside. Other options include mechanical key locks or access-controlled electronic locks. Octacell delivers pods with doors prepared for the chosen locking system, but the customer is responsible for acquiring the lock itself based on the security requirements.
  • Accessories
    • Octacell secure pods can be equipped with various accessories. Common additions include data ports (RJ45) and other wiring solutions that maintain soundproof integrity. Additional options such as alarm systems and safes for storage can be installed, though the customer is responsible for procuring these extra features.
