Front lighting and an additional monitor for Octacell video meeting rooms

Video meetings have become a permanent part of office work. However, standard workspace lighting is not always designed for video. If most of the light comes from above or behind the user, their face may appear dark or unevenly lit on camera.
Octacell rooms can be equipped with adjustable front lighting that improves facial visibility during video meetings. An additional monitor can also be installed in our larger one-person phone booths. This makes it easier to follow a video call while working with documents, presentations, or other content.
Adjustable front lighting improves video quality
Even light from the direction of the camera helps produce a clearer and more balanced image. Front lighting is particularly useful for client meetings, remote interviews, and other situations where video quality is an important part of communication.
Users can adjust the front light's brightness or turn it off when it is not needed. The integrated ceiling lighting in an Octacell room is also adjustable.
Front lighting is an optional feature and is not included in every Octacell room as standard.
An additional monitor supports video meetings and focused work
An additional monitor is useful when the user needs to follow a video meeting while working with a presentation, document, or another application. One screen can show the meeting participants while the other is used for shared content or focused work.
The Octacell 2X1 phone booth provides more desk space than our more compact models and has room for a standard office chair. Its height-adjustable desk supports ergonomic working. In addition to phone calls, the room is suitable for video meetings and short periods of focused work.
Octacell rooms can be prepared with the power and data connections required for a monitor and other video meeting equipment. The equipment itself is selected according to the customer’s needs. Customers can use their existing devices or purchase the required equipment through Octacell.

Front lighting and a monitor can also be added later
Front lighting and an additional monitor can also be retrofitted to compatible Octacell rooms that are already in use. Compatibility is checked based on the room model and its current equipment.
When an existing room is being updated for video meetings or focused work, we check:
- whether front lighting is compatible with the model
- what size monitor fits the room
- what mounting points and connections are required
- whether the update can be completed in the room’s current location
