Fortum’s headquarters are located in Espoo, Finland, where a large number of employees work in an office environment that supports both collaboration and focused work.
Daily work at Fortum includes video meetings, online collaboration, and tasks that require concentration and privacy. To support these needs, Fortum identified a requirement for soundproof spaces that could be used flexibly within the office without disturbing surrounding work areas.
Octacell delivered several smaller video meeting rooms to Fortum’s headquarters, as well as a larger Octacell meeting room designed for up to eight people. The workrooms are used for video meetings, focused individual work, and meetings that benefit from acoustic privacy. The combination of smaller and larger spaces allows Fortum to support different ways of working throughout the day.
The Octacell workrooms were added to the office environment as a practical solution that complements everyday work and meeting needs.
